What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a natural, manual therapy that engages the whole body including the brain, spine, ligaments, muscles, organs, blood vessels and nerves. It considers how each affects the others. Osteopathic practitioners use palpation to find and relieve movement restrictions in the body’s tissues.
Techniques used include visceral (organ) mobilization, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, muscle energy, and joint mobilization. To learn more about osteopathy, check out OsteopathyBC's website. Benefits of Osteopathy
